Q: What are eyelash extensions?

A: Eyelash extensions are individual synthetic lashes placed onto each natural eyelash to add extra length and volume. They’re perfect for holidays, a big event or your everyday look!

Q: How long do they last?

A: Eyelash extensions are semi permanent & *typically last about 2-3 weeks, but this varies for each individual.

Q: Will extensions damage my natural eyelashes?

A: The short answer is- no. If your lash technician is trained properly, the right diameter will be applied & will not weight down or break your natural lash. Healthy lashes are my top priority!

Q: How long is the process & what does it look like?

A: The initial full set takes about 2 hours, but varies depending on client & the amount of natural lashes that need to be covered. A two week refill typically take 1 hour.

I begin the process by prepping the clients eyelashes with primer or giving a lash bath if needed. Next, I tape down the bottom eyelashes so they do not interfere with the top lashes I am working on. Then we start applying! Feel free to bring your earbuds, take a nap, or listen to crime documentaries with me! When I am done the application, I fan & mist the lashes to ensure the best retention for my clients.

Q: How often should I get a refill?

A: Every 2-3 weeks! Your natural lashes shed just like the hair on your head- make sure to book your refills to keep your lashes looking amazing!

*You must return with at least 40% of your lashes for it to be considered a refill- less than 40% will result in a full set due to time & product used.

Q: Should I wash my eyelash extensions?

A: Absolutely ! Clean lashes = long lasting lashes. Your body naturally secretes oils & sweat which can build up on your lashes & break down the adhesive bond, causing premature lash fall out. I recommend using a foaming cleanser specifically for eyelashes. Wash your lashes everyday or every other day. When washing them, use a clean eyeshadow brush that will be gentle (do not use cotton swabs because cotton can get caught in the lashes).

Q: Is there anything else I can do to help my eyelash retention?

A: Yes there is! Eyelash extensions are an investment & are meant to be handled with care. Avoid steam or using products with oil around your eyes as it will break down the adhesive bond & cause premature lash fall out. Avoid excessively rubbing your eyes- if you sleep with your face in your pillow, think about investing in a silk pillow case (this will not only benefit your extensions, but your hair as well). If you go swimming or cry, make sure to splash your lashes with clean water after- this ensures that there are not minerals sitting on & breaking down the bond. In addition, make sure to wash your lashes everyday or every other day.

Q: can I wear makeup (mascara, eyeshadow, liner) with my extensions?

A: yes, BUT it has to be oil-free products!

Q: How do I prep for my eyelash appointment?

A: Come with a clean face (no makeup)! The initial process takes 2 hours & refills are around 1 hour. Some clients listen to music, nap, or listen to podcasts with me. Just remember that your eyes will be closed for a long period of time so you will be unable to text.

Q: Do you offer different styles?

A: Yes, we do! We have lash looks for every occasion & every individual; whether you want your lashes to look long & natural, or if you want full volume glam, I got you!

Below are the list of extension options & descriptions:

Classics – classics are a go-to option for someone who wants a natural look. The process is done with individual synthetic lashes & primarily adds length.

Hybrids- hybrids are in between classic (natural) & volume (dramatic)- the process is done with individual lashes & handmade fans.

Volume- volume is the most dramatic look we offer- the process is done only with handmade fans which gives a dark & voluminous appearance.
